CEPIS is a member of and active participant in the European e-Skills Association (EeSA). The creation of EeSA builds upon the achievements of the e-Skills Industry Leadership Board (ILB), a European consortium founded in 2007. EeSA signals new action, sustained investments and further commitment from the European community of organisations devoted to e-skills development to foster digital competencies, raise awareness of ICT studies and career opportunities and help equip people with new skills for new jobs, for inclusion, growth and innovation in Europe.

In a rapidly changing world, e-skills, including digital literacy skills, remain the foundation for Europe’s success as an innovative society, in which businesses as much as individuals are able to foster creativity, promote education, increase potential, drive growth and take advantage of career opportunities in all sectors across the region.
The mission of European e-skills Association (EeSA) is to act as the reference European platform to develop ICT skills and competences for professionals, practitioners, citizens, and users across all sectors and society to build a more inclusive, efficient, competitive and innovative Europe. Through its members, EeSA promotes the exchange of ideas, awareness raising and good practices at EU and Member State levels; it supports the development of tools and methodologies for the governance of e-skills; and it leads the implementation of concrete e-skills activities in cooperation with other stakeholders.
EeSA works in partnership with public authorities across Europe, industry sectors, SMEs and all relevant stakeholders, building upon recommendations and reference initiatives for e-skills. The members of EeSA include CEPIS, Cisco Systems, CompTIA, ECDL Foundation, ECONET, EITO, euroCIO, European Schoolnet, EXIN, , HP, Intel, Microsoft, Motorola, and Oracle.
