Editorial Policy

CEPIS UPGRADE's editorial policy aimed to provide its subscribers with high quality content that covered topics ranging from practical business experience to academic research in informatics. All of the papers published in CEPIS UPGRADE combined both a high technical standard with comprehensible language in providing useful information.

The Editorial Team of CEPIS UPGRADE was led by Chief Editor, Llorenç Pagés-Casas. This Team selected each issue's guest editors who were recognised experts in the field of informatics. All content was ultimately reviewed by the Editorial Team in order to ensure that the subject matter was relevant and that the quality was sufficiently high. In the event that the author was not a native English speaker the English Language editors of the e-journal further reviewed all content before publishing. Before the final draft was published, the original authors of each paper were be given the chance to review and make any final edits. All papers were submitted for review several months in advance of the publish date and had to be submitted in English only.

The papers published in the UPgrade European NETwork section were put forward by each participating publication's editor.
