Save the Date: European e-Skills 2013 Conference, 10 December, Brussels


e-skills week 2013The European e-Skills 2013 Conference will take stock of the progress made in the areas of e-skills, ICT professionalism and e-leadership. More particularly it will address the following key topics:

  • State-of-play in Europe: supply and demand of e-skills and forecasts (2015-2020). The latest trends, updates and statistical figures will be presented.
  • Benchmarking national e-skills policies and multi-stakeholder partnerships. An evaluation of progress in the EU Member States will be presented.
  • Progress of the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs will be discussed.
  • ICT professionalism: proposals for maturing the ICT profession will be discussed and the European e-Competence Framework (3.0) will be presented.
  • e-Leadership: proposals for pan-European curriculum development guidelines and quality labels will be presented including an example of new e-leadership curricula.

The European e-Skills Conference will bring together leading experts from industry, business schools, universities, ICT and CIOs associations, trade unions and governments.  The conference will take place at the Marriott Hotel in Brussels on 10 December. This event is free of charge but by invitation only.
