Report Reveals Only 57% of Public Services Are Available to Cross-Border Businesses


ECThe eGovernment Report 2015 assesses the eGovernment state-of-play in 33 European countries (the EU28+). It aims to contribute to steering European and national eGovernment strategies. To this end, the key findings and recommendations of this study are presented in three sections, each reflecting a different perspective. Amongst other things, it shows that users are still asked to fill forms with information already available to the administration in more than half of the cases. Only 57% of the public services are available to cross-border businesses and only 41% to other EU citizens across the border. Furthermore, 73% of the public services websites do not have a mobile-friendly version.
