Call for Papers for UTmessan 2016

utUTmessan 2016 will be held at Harpa Conference house in Reykjavik on 5 and 6 February 2016. UTmessan is one of the largest IT events in Iceland. The purpose of the UTmessan is to highlight the importance of information technology and its effects on individuals, businesses and Icelandic society alike. The goal is to see a significant increase in the number of students who choose technical disciplines in universities across the country and especially in computer science. The event is a joint collaboration between Ský (The Icelandic Computer Society), The University of Iceland, Reykjavik University and The Federation of Icelandic Industries.

UTmessan 2016 has made a call for papers that would interest their broad IT audience. They will host a number of tracks and will therefore have room for over 50 sessions. Each submitting party is allowed to submit more than one suggestion. Sessions that aim to sell specific products or services will not be accepted. The deadline for submissions is 1 November 2015.
