50 Years of German Informatics Society

Following on from the 50th anniversary of the founding of the German Informatics Society (GI), the topic of artificial intelligence shall be brought closer to the general public with the project "#KI50". Under the motto "Artificial Intelligence in Germany - yesterday, today, tomorrow" the project will draw attention to influential minds in German AI history, identify outstanding AI inventions from Germany and address current AI issues.

The German Informatics Society student conferences, the DevCamps, this year are focusing on artificial intelligence. Under the motto "#KI50 - Challenging AI", they will discuss the challenges of artificial intelligence in business and society with young computer scientists in eight German cities.
