Women in Digital Scoreboard 2019 results now available

On 11 June, the European Commission presented its annual Women in Digital (WiD) scoreboard that assesses women’s participation in the digital economy. The scoreboard shows that the Scandinavian countries and Luxembourg have the highest score, while Bulgaria, Romania, Greece and Italy lag behind significantly.

The WiD Scoreboard is a part of the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI), and has a strong correlation with it: the results show that the countries with the highest scores in women’s participation also have the highest overall digital competitiveness score.
