CEPIS experts participate in EU4Digital workshop in Riga

Dr. Luis Fernández, Member of the CEPIS Board, and Vera Pospelova from the University of Alcalá, Spain, represented CEPIS in the workshop of the EU4Digital project in Riga, Latvia, on 1 and 2 October. The participants agreed on deliverables such as a methodology for developing an eSkills framework for Eastern Partnership countries, the framework itself and the guidelines for its use. The framework will be inspired by EU references such as the European e-Competence Framework and DigComp, as well as sources of information like ESCO.

CEPIS’s role as a partner in the EU4Digital project focuses on providing expert guidance on methodology and reviewing the project’s deliverables. Several other experts from CEPIS Member Societies are also working with the project on an independent basis.

EU4Digital is a project funded through the European Neighbourhood Instrument and coordinated by EY Baltic and LIKTA, is aimed at delivering the benefits of the Digital Single Market to the Eastern Partnership countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
