2011 Federated Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems


The 2011 Federated Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems (FedCSIS) was held in September in Szcsecin, Poland. FedCSIS 2011 was organised by the Polish Information Processing Society (PIPS) under the auspices of Prof. Barbara Kudrycka, Minister of Science and Higher Education and Prof. Michal Kleiber, President of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The conference was supported by German Informatics and Asociación de Técnicos de Informática from Spain, among others.

Over 200 participants attended the event which covered several different subjects addressing computer science and information systems. Of the 250 submitted research papers, 147 were accepted for publication and PIPS sponsored two awards for Best Paper and Best Student Paper. As is tradition, FedCSIS 2011 best papers will be published in special issues of several international journals.
